These two names come from Denmark. These dishes are perfect to celebrate Christmas on the 24th and on the 25th December!
Risengrød
Ingredients:

For 3-4 person
2 dl water
2 dl porridge rice
1 liter wholemilk
salt
Steps:
1. Add the rice and water to a pot and boil until the water has been absorbed
2. Add milk and let it simmer at low heat for about 45 minutes (under lid) and stir often otherwise it will burn. Wait for it to reach the consistency to your liking. Season with salt.
3. Eat with cinnamon sugar (sugar and cinnamon combined) and butter chunks
Klatkager
Ingredients for 4 persons:

500 grams of Risengrød (leftovers)
2 tbsp flour
2 tbsp wholemilk
2 eggs
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp vanilla sugar
Butter
Steps:
1. Flour is combined with Risengrød
2. Eggs are whipped and added
3. Milk is added a little by little until it has a consistency as thick oat porridge
4. Add sugar and vanilla
5. Melt butter on a pan and cook the batter like it was American pancakes until they are light brown on both sides
6. Eat with for example strawberry jam or whatever you like.
